Robotics Team Information Page
Westlake High School robotics program consist of programs on different grade levels for students to learn and participate in.
- Students compete in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) under the mentorship of professionals and teachers - typically 9th and 10th graders but 11th and 12th graders may choose to participate. Tryouts are in Late Spring of each year.
- Students compete in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) as well as mentor robotics teams within the program and district. We have two FRC teams.
- FRC 2687 Team Apprentice is for 9th and 10th graders enrolled in first and second year classes.
- FRC 2468 Team Appreciate is for 11th and 12th graders with select invites to 9th and 10th graders.
